Packaging – La Roche PosayEffaclar Astringent Lotion comes packed in transparent blue colour 200ml bottle
and is filled till the rim. The bottle is headed with tight, flip open cap. The
packaging ensures there is no wastage of product when you are trying to extract
few drops from the bottle. Since the cap is so tight there is no fear of
spillage. I have tested it by reversing the bottle with cap shut, well La Roche
Posay Effaclar Astringent came out with flying colours, haha

La Roche Posay Effaclar Astringent
Lotion Review
I was using Body Shop Tea TreeToner before and was desperately in need of another toner or astringent. Mine
is oily skin so I can’t afford to take any risks. I have to follow a certain skincare regime to keep my skin luminous and soft. Astringent or toner is must for my
skincare cleaning regime. La Roche Posay Astringent Lotion is an alcohol based
astringent lotion which has nice but strong fragrance. It can be little too much
for people who are sensitive to fragrances. I usually use it at evening when I come
back from work or at times during day whenever I feel my skin is getting oily.
I was surprised to see how visibly it cleansed my skin even when I washed my
face with face wash. There was so much dirt on cotton pad (and trust me I do a
good job while cleansing my skin, haha). I really liked the nice aqua blue
colour bottle. I kept ogling at it the first time it arrived. I am using this
astringent lotion from more than three weeks now and I am happy with the fact
that it has lightened my blemish marks and this is effective in drying pimples
overnight. Generally astringents are known to dry out your skin but this lotion
doesn’t because of its moisturizing properties. It can be slight pungent when
you apply it for the first time but doesn’t hurt. The product is suitable for
all skin types and recommended especially for people with acne prone skin. La
Roche Posay Effaclar lotion is a unisex product and even guys can choose to invest
in it. The price is Rs. 1190 for 200ml bottle which seems high but when you
will see the quantity and compare it with another high end brand like Body shop
whose 60ml toner was priced at Rs. 795 you will feel better. Plus this bottle
can lasts you easily for 3-4 monthsThe only thing I didn’t liked that it has
alcohol in it and I know alcohol is the core of any astringent. Also brand says
there are no parabens which is slightly confusing factor since this product is
not 100% natural so this claim stands void. Overall I am really satisfied with
the product and I will recommend if you wish to get one for yourself.
