Essence Lash Mania Reloaded False Lash Mascara Review

In January 2017 my envy box I received two cosmetics from Essence one was Essence mascara and the other was essence lip gloss. Today in this post I am going to review Essence Lash Mania Reloaded False Lash Mascara.

About the brand – Essence is a new entrant in Indian makeup market. Essence brand was set up in 2001 and was launched in Germany for the first time. By collaborating with various beauty subscription boxes like My Envy Box the brand is trying to make its place in Indian market. Essence claims that they make high quality yet affordable products

Packaging – Essence Lash Mania Mascara comes packed in a silver-black long bullet. The bullet is really long and so its wand is. The brand name and other details are printed on a sticker and that sticker is pasted on the black bullet which looks visibly good. But this sticker easily comes off and makes mascara bottle look tacky. The wand quality is also not good. Essence Cosmetics really need to work on their packaging. Either the glue of sticker should be strong enough to hold it right or instead of sticker Essence can choose to print brand name and product info on the bullet.

Brand Claims – Essence cosmetics claims that Essence Lash Mania Reloaded Mascara gives volume and length to eye lashes like falsies.

Ingredients – Essence Mascara is ophthalmologically approved which means that this mascara won’t affect your eyes and visibility

Essence Lash Mania Reloaded False Lash Mascara Review

I was really excited to see mascara and a lip gloss in my last months’ envy box. I kept the mascara back in box at that time and took out few days back to use. When I unscrewed the mascara I got shock of my life to see that it was dry and cakey. I added few drops of gulab jal to bring it back in liquid form. Worst was yet to come that after two days of adding Gulab jal Essence mascara dried again. I was like this cannot happen. Next comes the application of essence mascara. The wand quality is not good, it bends at wrong points and makes mascara application slightly tricky. The packaging is not good. Only good thing is that it definitely makes your eyes look beautiful with its dark black pigmented colour. However it doesn’t volumnize eyelashes as it claims so. The mascara doesn’t feel heavy on eyelids and I haven’t experienced any kind of irritation or itchiness. Also it stays for as long as eight to nine hours. This is bit pricey as compared to product quality

I can’t recommend this product to anyone.
