I am sure after watching my video
you guys know now that how much I enjoy blogger meets. I try to be part of
every meet but due to busy schedule I have to skip at times. But yes there are
some meets like the meet by Indiblogger that I always make sure to attend. Best
thing about Indiblogger is that they are unbiased and don’t have a preference
of one blogger over another. Their recent blogger meet at Lalit, New Delhi with
Horlicks India was one of the best meets ever.
Horlicks, by GSK Healthcare is
one of the healthcare brands that everyone can associate with. Meet started
with registrations and then followed by lunch. It was a lavish buffet and
without any kiosk everybody relished their meals. Indiblogger team welcomes
everybody with so much warmth that makes you feel special. After lunch we went
to hall and then Anoop joined in. We played the famous number game of Indiblogger
and no matter how many times you play it is one game I always look forward to.
The meet was organized to launch
new product Horlicks Growth+ The product is targeted for 3-9 year old kids who
are shorter or leaner for their age. Panel discussion was something I was
definitely looking forward to. Moderator of discussion was Natasha Badhawar who
is a renowned media professional and on the panel were Dr. Rajiv Chhabra, HOD
of Paediatrics at Artemis Hospital, Ms Satinder Kaur Walia a child Psychologist
and Dr. Jyoti Arora who is head dietician at Batra Hospital.
It was a great panel discussion
when panellists share their stories, their views about child nutrition, whether
we can look beyond traditional ways or not. There were lot of parents in
audience and they asked plenty of questions. I am not a parent yet but it was great
to learn from the discussion so that when I will be parent or I can also advice
some other parents. That was my takeaway from the meet.
We also got to taste
Horlicks Growth and it tastes awesome. Mr. Amaan Khan marketing head of
Horlicks for Indian Subcontinent said that don’t make Horlicks as your
favourite after noon drink as it is designed specifically to meet growth
requirements of kids. They were honest to admit that you can consult your child
doctor first if they wish to give to their kids. With Mr. Khan and Dr. Kaushik
(head of medical affairs, GSK Healthcare) was a great interactive sessions. Bloggers
ask lot of questions and both of them politely replied to every single question.
After a short tea break we came
back to our next surprise. There was an activity planned for us. We made a team
of ten members each and with the help of props we were supposed to create a
video of 30 seconds that would talk about the product and brand. It was a fun
filled kiosk where every team was running to find a better place to shoot. Due
to the activity I made ten friends that day. It was amazing and I wish
Indiblogger organize more and more meets for us.
Stick to R&W
