Whenever I hear word handmade,
organic my senses instantly guide me towards those products. I am very
experimental and always look forward to try out new products. I prefer handmade
soaps for my skin because they are organic. I recently got soaps from SoapSquare India.
About Soap Square – Brand focuses
primarily on handmade soaps using essential oils, glycerine and other natural
ingredients. Theirs are the vegetarian soaps that contains real fruit extracts
and absolutely no parabens or petrochemicals. I got two soaps neem and tea tree
oil and saffron with shea butter.
Ingredients
Neem and Tea Tree Oil Soap – Neel
oil, tea tree essential oil, neem powder, glycerine soap base. This soap is
priced at Rs. 200
Saffron with shea butter –
Saffron extract, shea butter, saffron petals, glycerine soap base, saffron
fragrance oil. This soap is priced at Rs. 250
My experience – I was definitely
excited to try out these soaps because of natural ingredient in it. I obviously
started with neem soap as you know neem is my favorite ingredient. Soap has
mild fragrance and is gentle on skin. It forms sufficient lather and washes
away easily to give nice bathing experience. My skin feels soft, supple and
clear after bath. I don’t feel need to moisturize my skin immediately after
bath. Soap doesn’t slip from hands which normally happen in case of glycerine
soaps. But yes at times in summers you need a soap that makes you feel active
instantly. Due to which I would
recommend this soap is more suitable for spring, autumn and winter season,
instead of summers. I would also not recommend this soap for men. Soap Square
soaps are free of SLS, parabens and cruelty. They come with an expiry period of
24 months from the date of manufacture. Overall if I conclude it is nice soap
that will be good for your skin. I have also tried shea butter soap once. I have to say it has amazing fragrance of saffron. It will be great for my skin so I will save it for winters.
