I was browsing you tube when I came across trailer of Dhanak. The trailer has been launched long time back. I just saw and I couldn't stop myself from writing about it. It's a film written and directed by Nagesh Kukunoor. This film was premiered at 65th Berlin International Film Festival. The film has been appreciated a lot of film festivals and is all set to release in India on 10th June, 2016.
R&W Review - The film is a story of two kids, a sister and her blind brother. She has promised her brother that before his 9th birthday she will bring his eye sight back by getting him operated at a big hospital for which she needs lot of money. Her uncle is doesn't support them. She is fan of Shahrukh Khan. Her hope found a new shore when she saw her SRK on the poster of eye-donation drive. She believes that if she is able to reach SRK, he will help her. The film is about journey of kids to meet SRK. Trailer is excellent. Beautiful landscapes of Rajasthan, the culture, people everything they have tried to cover. It's a road movie. Both kids Hetal and Krrish have acted really well. This film is going to be one of the best films made for kids. It's not just about show-shaa, the film actually showcase the strong relation of a brother and sister. I am looking forward to it.
