Rocky and Mayur have ventured out to explore food from all parts of India and curate videos on Askme.com I'm contributing mypart by relishing my favorite dishes at Punjabi By Nature.
When we reached restaurant we were asked to wait for like 5-10 min due to huge rush inside the restaurant. Outside you will see framed awards won by restaurant from biggies on both sides of entry gate. Oops I captured Guard's cap as well, LOL
They will serve water in these steel glasses. Waiters were dressed in Punjabi attire.
For starters we had Dahi Kebabs. I like the way they decorated with green leaf and beet root.
For drinks fresh lime soda (sweet), mint crusher (I don’t remember the exact name)
The restaurant didn’t had huge variety for say. In main course you can see limited number of options. We ordered Dal Makhni, Paneer Makhni and Tawa Vegetables with Masala Okra. Someone on other table ordered chole bhature and I have never in my life seen large bhatura. May be next time I will try.
What I didn’t like much is that the waiters are not really trained in customer service. They don’t listen sometimes. They don’t serve food on their own. You have to ask them.
For desserts we had Gulab Jamun, Pista Kulfi and Hot Chocolate Fudge. The fudge turned out to be something else.
Food quality is good as well as taste. I would like to go again.
R&W Rating – 3.5/5 marks deducted for customer service and less options
R&W Recommendation – Its worth trying, you are looking for decent place to have lunch with your family it’s a great place. Restaurant has branches at lot of places in Delhi-NCR, Bangalore. Check their web page for correct addresses.
Have you been to Punjabi By Nature? What was your experience?
