Janpath is undoubtedly one of my
favourite places to hang out in Delhi. An invite to review restaurant at
Janpath is like bonus, eating out free with shopping. I was excited to visit
Janpath Grill House. I am a huge fan of barbeques, grill food and that to be
something with Indian twist is always welcomed on my plate.

When I walked in I was dazzled by
its beautiful and elegant décor. The walls were done with bright colours with a
huge wall painting displaying life of Janpath. Restaurant is built on two floors
and both the floors are done beautifully with teal colour couches. Upstairs
there are seats which look like some kind of posh swing which we normally see
in bungalows in films.
Since it was really hot so we
requested them not to put hot coal, fire and griller in centre of our table. I
am a vegetarian and I loved their dahi kebabs and achaari paneer tikka in
starters. My favourite drink was Hajmola and I had that twice. They have the most interesting and unique way of serving golgappas.
I have to say that more than
grill I loved their main course. For grill we sat at first floor and later came
down to lavish buffet. I filled my plate with mushroom, paneer pasanda, dal
makhni, rice and garlic naan. At last treated myself with lot of sweets like
kulfi, phirni, kheer. I am an unapologetic sweet lover.
After we were done eating our
goal was to burn some calories while walking from one shop to another, LOL. It
was fun and you must check out Janpath Grill House when you visit Janpath next
time. It is not at all expensive and a nice place to hang out with your family,
friends.
