I got goose bumps when I saw the
trailer of Randeep Hooda, Aishwarya Rai, Richa Chadha starrer Sarbjit. This film is directed
by Mary Kom fame Omung Kumar, produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Bhushan Kumar,
Sandeep Singh, Omung Kumar and music by Amaal Malik, Jeet Ganguly. The film
will be released on 20th May, 2016 alongside its Cannes screening.
R&W Review – Sarbjit is not
merely a film. It’s actual live story of one unfortunate Indian who was trapped
by Pakistani Army under suspicion of him being an Indian spy. Films on real
people in a way to tell real stories to lot of people who don’t read news and
can be aware of what is happening in society. Aishwarya Rai is looking like a profound
actress looking apt in every frame. She is looking very natural in every scene.
I definitely believe that Randeep Hooda is an amazing actor and this film is
like achieving a next level in itself. You can see from the trailer that he is
looking so expressive in every emotion. Thank god they are not trying to show
goodness of Pakistan in trailer atleast. I am sure this film will be banned in
Pakistan. Film will be really emotional and I am going to cry a lot while
watching it. It will be interesting to watch Richa Chadha and Aishwarya together. One can live through the screen what Sarabjit Singh really went
through. He was a brave man and he deserves lot of respect.
R&W Rating – 4/5
