India Runway Week INSD Think Design 2016

It was so exciting when I was invited to attend and cover India Runway Week 2016. INSD one of the best design schools in India showcased its collection. Collection from students of both departments fashion designing and interior designing was at display. 

INSD titled their show as "Think Design". Various interesting themes were presented with lot of razzmatazz. I was super excited to be one of the lucky audience who got chance to witness the unveiling of magic. Students from INSD worked day and night to make this event a success.  The themes presented by students were Shwet, Achromania, Emotions of Khadi, Romanticism & colours of life. Show gave an opportunity to aspiring fashion & interior designers  to showcase their talent in front of who's who of Delhi. Media personnel from big publishing houses, newspapers, channel were present to cover the prestigious fashion event. I couldn't believe that those were newbies because the collection was brilliant. 

Various themes were showcased in the show. 

Shwet which indicates the flow of peace and calmness with purity; Designers – Chhavi Garg, Sonam Rajput, Rishi Sachdeva, Jyoti Thakur, Ankit Khera. 

Achromania a neutral color palette is a perfect pick for those who desire an elegant and classic look; Designers – Darpan, Manpreet, Priyanka.

Emotions of Khadi India’s Proud the go green fabric; Designers – Junaid, Samya, Harpreet, Vishika Rana. 

Colors of Life the Jazzy colors of life Runway of the easy chic; Designers – Mansi, Vernica, Deepika, Vkash, Shubhi. 

Romanticism inspired by love Here’s presenting the romantic one; Designers – Chakit, Ankita, Rashmi, Vineet, Sneha

Interior department of INSD – Participating students displayed creative product models & night lamps, Rashmi, Tanvi, Gauri, Akhil, Sidhant, Akhilesh, Shivdev

Mr. Aggarwal head of INSD was proud of his students and their work. He told in his media interaction about how much he and his students worked hard to make this event a success. Students were really happy to get such support from their teacher, their Guru. There is lot more to the event coming soon on my blog.
