R&W Review: Trailer
is really funny and all kind of scenes has been filmed like the way Yash Raj
films real scenes in their films. From last few years Yash Raj is focusing on
films based on real Indian people with obviously filmy twist. Film has been
shot in Rishikesh and Haridwar which is evident from landscape scenes in the
trailer. The film is about a guy (Prem) from Haridwar who is arranged to get
married to Sandhya who weighs around 85 kg. They get married in group weddings
organized by society. He tries to oppose the wedding because of weight of girl
but his family members are adamant to their decision. Finally he gets married
to her and is not able to accept her as his wife. The whole situation seems so
funny. Sandhya’s mom is suggesting her to make Prem watch all kind films to
revolutionize Prem’s thoughts about marriage life. Prem’s unacceptance to
marriage drives them to divorce and then there is some kind of contest where
guys have to carry their wives on back and run. Trailer has revealed like all.
So I don’t know if audience will be surprised or not. Trailer does remind me of
any popular TV soap as most of them have similar things. Girl guy don’t get
along first, then later they fell in unconditional love with each other. Off
course in the end of the film couple will reconcile. So story doesn’t surprise
us. The girl is the film gets teased about her weight. What I like was director
has actually chosen a girl who is really bulky in real. Not like inflated a
slim girl on screen and then later shown her in glamorous avatar. I am eager to
listen to songs by Kumar Sanu as he has sung two songs in the film after really
long time. Right now my favorite is “sundar susheel“. I like the tag line of
film “Love comes in all sizes” and statutory warning in the end of trailer. Movie
will be out in theatres on 27 February, 2015 next week to Badlapur
R&W Rating: 3/5
